Vessel Superstructure Airflow Optimization

Full surface 3D scanning of a marine superstructure followed by CFD analysis to reduce wind noise on the bridge and optimize exhaust dispersion and drag at cruise.

Quantified Outcome

Reduced bridge deck wind noise by 11 dB(A) at 14 kn cruise, eliminated exhaust recirculation onto the boat deck, and cut superstructure drag by 8.4%. Delivered as a 184-page AutoCAD package with ISO-216 fabrication drawings.

Sub millimeter 3D scanning and dimensional inspection of a tactical UAV composite fuselage against master CAD for production qualification.

Inspected 184 GD&T surfaces to ±0.05 mm tolerance, identified 7 out of spec features, and delivered a signed inspection report enabling production sign off.
